First Picture with My New iPhone

I picked up the new iPhone 4 this morning at the AT&T store. I only stood in line, in the heat, for 2 hours to get it! :( I am loving it though. Plus, it takes such cute pictures of Murphy!

Insect Porn

These praying manti were mating on the outside wall at work today. Several of us gathered 'round to see the female bite the head off of the male. After about an hour, we got bored and went back inside. Insect porn is pretty boring.

Art Show

Tim had his own booth in this year's Maury Regional Art Show. He presented 19 watercolors at this year's show. For the 2 days of the show, he sold 9 pieces and had 3 commissions. Good job!!

Getting Ready for the Art Show

Tim has an entire booth of his watercolors in this year's Maury Regional Art Show. I'm so proud of him. He has so many great paintings for the show. One of my favorites is this trio of local landmarks - Polk Home, Courthouse, and Train Depot. I know it will be a quick seller at the show tomorrow!

Angel's Trumpet, Round 2

The second round of blooms on the Angel's Trumpet is even more spectacular than the first! It is literally dripping with gorgeous blooms. The scent is intoxicating when you step outside. I adore this plant this year. Definitely makes it worth the razzing I received from Tim and others about growing a big poke salad tree!

Farm Fresh Dinner

The table is set for the farm fresh dinner Tim made tonight. He was in the mood to cook a big ole country dinner. He made roast, squash casserole, broccoli casserole, carrots, sliced tomatoes, and served vanilla bean ice cream with fresh peaches, drizzled in honey for dessert. Most of the veggies came from the Farmer's Market this morning and it was all so fresh and wonderful. It was also the first "big" dinner we served on the new dining room table. We comfortably sat 8 for dinner - Beth, Andy, Randall, Glenn, Donna, Jason, Tim, and myself. It was a perfect evening.
